Monte
A view across the gardens at Monte, high on the hill above Funchal on the island of Madeira, showing the old Rack Railway station building and the smaller ticket kiosk to the right. The long closed railway climbed into Monte on the viaduct to the left until 1943 and continued up the hill where the yellow bus is parked. 20th March 2013.
