Kirbymoorside
The former Kirbymoorside station, on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, looking east along the 1875 NER route to Pickering in April 2008. Scheduled passenger services ceased here in 1953, although excursion traffic and freight continued to be handled until 1964, with an agricultural supplies company latterly occupying the former yard and railway buildings. Demolition and site clearance took place here in 2010 and the area is now occupied by housing.
