Hindley
Electrification preparation work at Hindley meant that the station was closed for several months but trains are now calling again. Two Class 769 hybrids pass on 10th January 2024, in this view from the Deep Pit footbridge. The road bridge outside the station entrance has been completely rebuilt with the solum from four track days used as a works compound.
