Nateby
It looks like this railway crossing cottage will survive. For some time now the land between Nateby Crossing Lane and the A6 in Garstang has been earmarked for a huge housing development. Work started in 2024 and has obliterated the old GKER trackbed (See 21495) but in December the old cottage was still there. It seems it will be retained and incorporated into a new bespoke 'eco-home' on the site. I'm glad as it is the only GKER crossing cottage in largely original condition, two others having been significantly modified. See image 18317 from 2008.
