View from W5 bus to Archway, passing underneath the still incomplete bridge across Stanhope Road at Highgate that will eventually link the two halves of the Parkland Walk footpath, formerly the GNR Alexandra Palace 'Northern Heights' branch. This was severed when the first footbridge, that replaced the original railway bridge, was found to be unsafe. This view is at 12.35 on Saturday, 15th March 2025 looking towards Crouch End and Finsbury Park but, alas, does not signify the rebuilding and reopening of the railway.
