Ayr Station Hotel: Demolition of Ayr Station Hotel now reaches up to the former main entrance. The view looks north, with the station on the right, on 18th February 2024.
Umberleigh: View of the station at Umberleigh, looking towards Barnstaple in 2015
Blairadam Colliery Pit No 1: West of Blairadam Colliery the mineral line from Kelty continued west to Blairenbathie to serve other mines. To the north of where the M90 cuts through its former course the motorway crosses over a minor road with this appropriate mural.
North Woolwich: North Woolwich station is looking rather sorry for itself in this shot thought to date from 1972. The station building dates from 1847 but was in a poor state of repair at that time although it was brought back to life as a museum in 1984 but this subsequently closed its` doors in 2008. The station itself closed in 2006 and was replaced by King George V on the Docklands Light Railway.
Ayr Station Hotel: Ayr Station Hotel, seen on the 11th of February, from the railside. Men in a basket suspended from the crane were descending inside the 'Tower' presumably surveying the next phase.
West Hampstead Thameslink: 700041, all stations Thameslink service to Luton heading away from the camera as it departs from West Hampstead Thameslink, at 15.21 on Saturday, 3rd February 2024. This is the most northerly of the remarkable series of three stations at West Hampstead, all within a stone's throw of each other on West End Lane, but all completely separate.
