Strowan Tunnel: Looking west on the trackbed of the Crieff to Comrie line. There was a culvert under the line carrying the Balmenach Burn, but it must have been causing problems since the line closed and the embankment and culvert have been removed. Fortunately there is an alternative route to the west through the fields on the north side of the line.

Liverpool Lime Street: The frontage of Lime Street station, in November 2024. This train shed is adjacent to another near identical one, but that is hidden behind the old hotel building seen on the left of the picture. This building is now partly turned over to flats but there is also a Wetherspoons outlet, accessed directly from the Lime St concourse.
