Shildon: 158853 pauses at Shildon, the penultimate stop on its journey from Saltburn to Bishop Auckland on 18th November 2024. Although the station still boasts two platforms in use, the line beyond to Bishop Auckland and onward to the Weardale Railway reduces to single line. Entrance to Locomotion Museum from this platform is via a good level access.

Appleby: The old goods shed at Appleby West that is now part of a commercial complex, formerly Appley Heritage and Training Centre. The centre, which opened in 1996, offered courses to young adults but went into administration in early 2020 and after a few years of lying dormant it is being re-used once again as a warehouse.

Haggerston: Haggerston station opened in April 2010, with the partial reopening of the former North London Railway's Broad Street viaduct, closed in 1986, for the London Overground with a new link to the former London Underground East London Line. It is a short distance north of the original NLR's Haggerston station which closed in May 1940 after severe WWII bomb damage and never reopened. The northbound platform is seen here from 378209 arriving with a London Overground service from Highbury & Islington to Crystal Palace at 11.32 on Saturday, 23rd November 2024.
