Keith Town: Some sheep, currently resident just outside Keith, appear to have a total disregard for their safety. This was the scene on 5th April 2025, just outwith the town, as the 16.20 service to Dufftown is brought to a halt by trespassers.

Appleby: SR Battle of Britain Class Light Pacific no. 34067 'Tangmere' makes good time as it passes beneath Roman Road, to the north of Appleby, on Saturday 29th March 2025. This was the return leg of 'The Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express', running as 1Z87 1418 Carlisle to London Euston. 47813 was on the rear.
