Liskeard: 50023 arrives at Liskeard with 1B33, 1430 Paddington to Penzance service. Tony is on his way home to Exeter after spending the weekend with me in Cornwall. He is on the 1800 Penzance to Paddington, which left Liskeard around 1950 the same time as the 1430 Paddington arrived. Note the clay hood stabled by the signal box ready to go to Moorswater on Monday morning.

Pettycur Harbour: View south to Pettycur Harbour, with the cleared site of the bottle works (closed in 1982) in the foreground. A siding served the factory and the preceding salt works and coke ovens and continued along the pier which had been owned by the Edinburgh & Northern Railway.
