The tunnel runs between the former Dawsholm Gas Works (Glasgow Corporation Gas Works No 2) under Skaethorn Road and the Forth and Clyde Canal to the former Temple Gas Works (Glasgow Corporation Gas Works No 4) on a north east to south west orientation.
