Construction work has got under way at Dundee^s new train station concourse in a £28m project.
Crews from Balfour Beatty have started work at the site on the new building, which will include a three-storey hotel, a cafe and retail space.
The previous 1970s station building was torn down in a succession of Christmas Day demolitions, while rail services were suspended for the holidays.
The new concourse is scheduled to be complete in two years^ time.
