Spanish manufacturer CAF has finalised a 200 million agreement to supply 75 coaches for the new Serco-operated Caledonian Sleeper service between Scotland and London. CAF will supply five types of vehicle which will form four 16-car trains, including 11 spare carriages. Serco will begin the new 15-year franchise from April, taking over from incumbent operator FirstGroup. [From Richard Buckby]
