Outgoing ScotRail operator Abellio is revamping its staff outfits despite delaying the introduction of a new uniform when it took over the franchise six years ago 'to be sure of getting it right'. [See also ScotRail news item of the 17th.]

It's out with the old and in with the new, as ScotRail gives front-line staff their first uniform makeover since 2015.
Staff have been calling for a more up to date and stylish uniform, but also one that is more practical for them to wear. So, new trousers, polo shirts, dress shirts, ties, and softshell jackets will be given to the almost 4,000 staff who wear company uniforms while carrying out their duties.
