Milton of Campsie: The station at Milton of Campsie on a snowy March day in 2009. Opened in 1848 it served the village for just over a century until the line was closed to passenger traffic in 1951.

North Lanarkshire walking routes promoted by a group of local volunteers thanks to support from Scotland's walking charity. Northern Corridor Community Volunteers (NCCV) were awarded more than £4000 in funding fromPaths for All, with support from NatureScot, to promote walking opportunities around the disused Strathkelvin Railway Path near Moodiesburn.
