The Vodafone mast at Tyndrum Upper station has not been working for much of the summer according to residents. [The mast is located in the former goods yard at Upper Tyndrum. -RS]

The West Highland Line has been closed after a landslip has removed part of the earthworks underneath the iconic railway. [Cancelled and returned to Arrochar and Tarbet. Southbound smelter empties cancelled at Tulloch.] Engineers are currently on site at Crianlarich and Tyndrum to assess the damage by rainfall yesterday, and to establish what work needs to be done, and when the line can be re-opened.
