Hindley
Deep Pit footbridge at Hindley, viewed from the station platform on 21st February 2024. Flex unit 769448 passes under the listed structure, which once spanned nine tracks, as it approaches on a Southport to Manchester Oxford Road service. Preparations for the installation of OLE masts can be seen alongside the Down line. The fence on the left secures the electrification contractor's compound.
