Millerhill South Junction: Looking north from the road bridge at the south end of Millerhill yard in March 1966. B1 61099 is setting off on the chord to the ECML with loaded coal wagons, possibly heading to the washery at Dalkeith Colliery. Also visible are a Clayton and an 08 and on the left can be seen the down hump yard.

Selkirk Junction: A southbound service on the Borders Railway, photographed between Galashiels and Tweedbank in the summer of 2018. The train has just passed the site of the former Selkirk Junction, three quarters of a mile from its ultimate destination.

Delabole: The former Delabole station house on the North Cornwall Railway, closed in October 1966. Considerable building has gone on here since closure with many new houses now built around the former station area.

Woodacre Crossing: The Saturday morning 'Tesco' heads north at Woodacre behind 88005 'Minerva' on 13th April 2024. As soon as this long train had passed the loop at Barton and Broughton, 70000 'Britannia' was allowed out to follow it northwards with an excursion to Carlisle (See image [[89265]]).
