Crewe: Platform 1 at Crewe station is hidden away and people probably wouldn't realise it was even there if they weren't looking for it. On Monday 17th February 2025 323224 sneaks in working 2A98 1236hrs Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe. This EMU has spent its entire 31-year career working out of Manchester and it will have seen a lot of change in the northern city over that time.

Mossley Hill: 170423, EMR Nottingham to Lime Street on 5th February 2025, passes between the long ramps that lead from the street level ticket office to the two island platforms at Mossley Hill. Immediately beyond the bridge is the site of the first station here, opened with the line in 1864. That also had two island platforms but for some reason the station was relocated to this side of the bridge in 1891.
