This junction for the Busbie Colliery Railway was between Springside and Crosshouse stations.
A box opened at the junction in 1889 on the north side of the junction. A mineral line with a trailing connection ran south east from the junction to Busbie Colliery Pit No 3. By reversal east of the colliery the line on to Busbie Colliery Pit No 6 and Busbie Colliery Pit No 5 was reached.
The main line closed in 1965.
The main line's trackbed is now a footpath.
