This was a single track girder viaduct crossing on a gentle curve over the River Kelvin. It was just south of the Maryhill Aqueduct and on the west side of Dawsholm station. The bridge carried a short branch which ran from the line north of Dawsholm station to the Dawsholm Gas Works south west over the River Kelvin to the Kelvindale Paper Works on the west bank of the river. The branch was approached from the north, trains reversing to reach the paper works.
Another viaduct stood just to the north - Kelvindale Viaduct [Gas Works] - connecting the line south of Dawsholm station to the Temple Gas Works. This branch, approached from the south, crossed over the Kelvindale Paper Works branch and the River Kelvin before passing through the Dawsholm Tunnel to reach the gas works. This viaduct was also south of the Maryhill Aqueduct.
A further bridge north of the Maryhill Aqueduct, Dawsholm Viaduct [Gas Works], connected the Dawsholm branch to the Dawsholm Gas Works.
