Barrhill Station is finally set to get a car park - after 60 years of waiting for one. [The station serves a large area in addition to the village but unfortunately there are very few parking places at present. -RS]

It's another day of travel disruption for commuters as ScotRail have announced trains in Ayrshire will be subject to delays and cancellations for the second day in a row.
