A major project to refurbish Cullercoats Metro station in North Tyneside is set to start this week. The main focus will be the restoration of the stations Victorian-era footbridge. Its steel work will be strengthened and the outer wooden panels replaced to provide a fresher appearance and an improved customer experience. We are investing £579,000 in the works, which forms part of our infrastructure modernisation programme.
