Pictures show four cars submerged under water as a yellow weather warning for rain is in place, with the heavy downpour wreaking havoc on roads and railways. Greenock West train station is completely flooded, with the water having made it's way inside the waiting room of the station. All services on the North Clyde route, which connects Glasgow to the West of Scotland, have been cancelled. [For some of the day, Helensburgh Upper and Dumbarton were operating as termini for the West Highland. -RS]

(Permalink) Accessibility Bogston Greenock Central Greenock West Woodhall  Greenock West: Gourock bound 334 012 leaving Greenock West on 15 October and about to enter Newton Street Tunnel, Scotlands longest, running to Fort Matilda.  Woodhall: Glasgow Road entrance to Woodhall station on 29 April. Short on well-kept flower beds, no comfy waiting room, but at least there is a ticket office.  Bogston: This station has probably never seen so many passengers!! The tall ships event at Greenock brings countless passengers to this normally quiet station.
