Dellburn Works

Description

This was the works of Marshall, Fleming and Jack who manufactured mobile railway cranes. The works was served by sidings from the fly-under south east of Motherwell station which, having passed north under the West Coast Main Line, served the Dalzell Steel Works and Glasgow Rolling Stock and Plant Works of Hurst, Nelson & Company Ltd. The Dellburn works was on the south side of the line, its sidings from the fly-under approached from the west.
