Description

This signalling centre is on the south side of Edinburgh Waverley in an area which was formerly the west end of Edinburgh Waverley Goods.

The box took over locations and junctions formerly controlled by the following signal boxes:

By taking over Haymarket Power Box the centre took control of these former junctions

Chronology Dates

/ /1977	Easter Road Deviation (North British Railway) Easter Road Junction signal box was burns down and is replaced with a temporary box until Edinburgh Signalling Centre was able to take control later in the year.
/ /1981	Edinburgh and Northern Railway Signaling from Dalmeny to Cupar, Dunfermline and Cowdenbeath transferred to the new Edinburgh Signalling Centre.
