Green-fingered locals of all abilities and ages are encouraged to join Cardross Community Gardens volunteer group. The Adopt-a-Station volunteer group is looking for more keen gardeners to be a part of the effort to maintain the flower beds next to the village's station.

ScotRail has been awarded the prestigious Investing in Volunteers accreditation by Volunteer Scotland for its ongoing Adopt-a-Station volunteering programme.
