Babcock International, Forth Ports Group and Scarborough Muir Group outline their transformative vision for the internationally renowned port, shipbuilding, manufacturing and logistics cluster at Rosyth. It includes plans for a new freight terminal, offshore renewable manufacturing and green power generating capacity. It will also enable development of large scale advanced manufacturing, skills and innovation onsite, alongside a proposed new rail freight connection.

Rail Minister, Wendy Morton MP and Thurrock MP Jackie Doyle-Price visited Tesco's UK-Europe rail hub at the Port of Tilbury following the retailers £5million investment in new rail freight services. Tesco's new investment, building on £2.5m of investment in recent years, includes the introduction of a new temperature-controlled rail freight service.

Forth Ports has been granted Listed Building Consent by the City of Edinburgh Council to fully repair the Category A Listed Victoria Swing Bridge located at the Port of Leith to conserve the bridge for the future and create a useable space for the local community.
The private six-figure investment will see the bridge, which is the largest counterweighted swing bridge in Scotland, fully repaired. London's leading provider of river, road and rail freight solutions, Walsh, has signed a 20-year agreement with the Port of Tilbury to help to meet the capital's demand for construction materials in the most sustainable way. The deal enables Walsh to create two new freight hubs at the port - the first will be a logistics terminal with aggregates processing.
