They were the secret and elite 'Dad's Army' based in Kirriemuir which readied itself to repel a Nazi invasion during the Second World War. The Tayside guerrilla warfare brigade was set up to carry out a last-ditch defence and take the fight to the Nazis if Hitlers Operation Sea Lion was given the green light.
