New stations and upgrades planned under £30m rail investment [Scotsman]

Date: 03/04/2012

New railway stations will be opened and others upgraded under a new £30 million Scottish Stations Investment Fund announced by transport minister Keith Brown in Alloa today.

The move is the latest of a flurry of transport developments unveiled by the Scottish Government in the run-up to the council elections in May.

The fund will operate for five years from 2014.
