First Waverley works completed [Network Rail Article]

Network Rail completed the first stage of a £130m scheme to redevelop Edinburgh’s Waverley Station this week, with the of demolition of a redundant building on the north side of the station.

Looking east over the Royal Mail yard alongside Calton Road in 1985 as a southbound train prepares to leave platform 1.
